Uses of pneumatic V type ball valves

The pneumatic V type ball valve is a form of quarter-turn valve, which can be used with a valve positioner to realize proportional adjustment. The valve can be used with a solenoid valve and a control box to realize on-off control. The V-shaped valve core is the most suitable for various adjustments, with a large rated flow coefficient, a large regulating ratio, good sealing, a sensitive adjustment, small size and vertical or horizontal installation. Pneumatic V type ball valves can be widely used in the automatic control system of industrial departments, including petroleum, chemical industry, paper making, chemical fibers, electric power, metallurgy, pharmacy, environmental protection, etc.

The working principle of pneumatic V type ball valves

A pneumatic regulating valve is composed of actuators and regulating mechanisms. The actuator is the thrust component of the regulating valve. The actuator generates the corresponding thrust according to the pressure of the control signal and pushes the regulating mechanism to operate. The valve body is the regulating part of the pneumatic regulating valve and directly contacts with the medium to regulate the flow of the fluid.

Structural characteristics of the pneumatic V type ball valve
 
1. The V type ball valve adopts the movable valve seat loaded by the disc spring or the cylindrical spring. The seat and the V-shaped ball do not have problems including jamming, separation, etc., so the sealing is reliable and the service life is long.
 
2. There is a shear action between the V-shaped ball and the seat so that the valve is especially suitable for media containing fibers, solid particles, slurry and so on.
 
3. According to different working conditions, the ball and the seat can be sealed by various advanced technologies, such as soft sealing, spray welding nickel-based alloys (hardness greater than HRC60), supersonic spraying tungsten-cobalt alloys (hardness greater than HRC70) and special hardening materials, suitable for various harsh working conditions.
 
4. The worm gear has the functions of accurate adjustments and reliable positioning, with  approximately equal percentage flow characteristics, large adjustable range and high adjustment precision.
 
5. When the valve is fully open, the flow capacity is large, the pressure loss is small, and the medium will not deposit in the valve body cavity.
