Dos and Don'ts of Installation of Elbows

There are many dos and don'ts for installing the elbow. Because the elbow is directly connected with the straight pipe, leakage will occur if you are not careful enough to install the pipe elbow. What should you pay attention to during the installation of the elbow?

1. Keep the elbow clean.

If the elbow is used for a long time, it is necessary to inspect and maintain the elbow regularly. Clean the working face of the elbow, and then keep the elbow in a dry place to avoid corrosion.

2. Make preparations for installation.

Please carefully check the standards of elbows before installation. For example, check whether the diameter of the elbow meets the standards. If there is something wrong with the elbow, fault diagnosis should be carried out before installation of the elbow.

3. The stainless steel elbow is directly installed between two lengths of pipe according to where it is used.

To simplify the operation and maintenance of the elbow, please note that the stainless steel elbow can only be installed horizontally. Besides, attention should be paid to the sealing of the elbow during installation, so as to avoid the leakage and keep the normal operation of the pipe.
