An Introduction of Carbon Steel Elbow

Elbow is used for bend connection of pipes, which connect two of the same nominal diameter tube and make an angle turning. From materials, the elbow can be classified into carbon steel elbow, cast steel elbow, alloy steel elbow, stainless steel elbow, copper elbow, and aluminum alloy elbow, etc. Bend can be used in all walks of life, covering from small families to big enterprises.

Carbon steel elbow has good pressure and temperature resistance, and good flexibility, whose performance is better than other plastic pipes. Its installation is simple and thermal conductivity is good, which makes it suitable for the floor heating system, and it also has recyclability. Pressing elbow pipes have the excellent impact strength, melt welding and mechanical connection, and the thermal conductivity which is better than that of PB - PP - R. Only seen from the design stress, national standard pressing elbow has the best pressure resistance. However, due to various factors, the actual wall thickness of the floor heating pipe is usually 2mm. And under the wall thickness, all pipes can meet the requirements of floor heating, and the advantage of national standard pressing elbow pipe is not so obvious.
