Thermodynamic Disc Type Steam Trap

The thermodynamic disc type steam valve operates based on Bernoulli's principle of thermodynamics. It utilizes the different thermodynamic properties of steam and condensed water to cause changes in kinetic and potential energy, which in turn alter the static pressure. This causes a pressure difference above and below the operating valve disc, enabling the pneumatic valve disc to open and close, thus achieving the purpose of blocking steam and draining water. It is commonly installed in various high, medium, and low-pressure steam pipe networks or heat tracing applications for steam users.
