Characteristic Analysis of Punched Elbow

Elbow is a common pipefitting for connection in the pipe installation, which is used for link the pipe bend. Its other names are 90 degree elbow, right-angle elbow, etc.
 
Its application: connecting two tubes with the same nominal diameter to make a 90 degree bend for pipes. 
 
1. According to materials, it can be classified into carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, plastic, ppc, etc.
 
2. According to production methods, it has pushing, pressing, forging, casting and so on.
 
3. According to manufacturing standards, it has national standard, American standard, German standard, and so on.
 
Pressing elbow is good and widely used in different fields and industries, which gives it the application and popularization of different degrees. Pressing elbow is formed according to adopting the same material with the pipe to produce two half block bend by pressing, then welding them. Its welding shall be carried out according to certain procedure. Generally, the more the carbon content it has, the greater its hardness is and the higher the strength, but lower plasticity. The general steel without so much alloy material is sometimes called plain carbon steel or carbon steel. Carbon steel refers to those iron-carbon alloys whose carbon content is less than 2%. Stamping elbow is made according to long-term production and summary in many failures, which is a reasonable science and new experience, adding a certain amount of rare earth elements to improve the quality of alloy steel.
